Med hänsyn till vädret så är bästa tiden att besöka Florida mellan februari och maj. Vid den här tiden slipper du de kallaste månaderna på året (november till januari), såväl som de allra varmaste och fuktigaste  (nämligen juli och augusti).  Och du kommer också att unvika orkansäsongen, som sträcker sig från juni till november (högst mellan mitten av augusti till mitten av oktober).  Men Florida kan bjuda på fantastiskt sommarväder året om. Speciellt i den södra delen där det sällan blir speciellt kallt.
